I have extensive experience in addressing a variety of communication needs, including speech, language, as well as swallowing skills.
The mobile service reaches homes, residential care facilities, and hospitals across Hamilton and the wider Waikato region. Additionally, nationwide telehealth services ensure you receive care wherever you are.

Services offered:

  • Assessment of dysphagia and communication disorders including aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech and cognitive-communication difficulties.
  • Planning and implementation of therapy for dysphagia and communication difficulties.
  • Providing information, education, advice, and support to clients, carers, whanau and aged care facilities.
  • Assessment and implementation of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)
  • Onward referrals to appropriate health providers as needed.
  • Collaboration with the wider medical and allied health teams.

Pricing

Initial Assessment (1 hour): $230 + GST 
Includes case history, assessment, feedback on assessment and brief written summary.

Initial Assessment and Written Report (1 hour): $320 + GST
Includes case history, assessment, feedback on assessment and full written report.

If extra time is needed for the intial assessment, this will be charged in 30 minute intervals of $75 + GST.

Therapy
Includes session planning and preparation.
45 minutes - $120 + GST
60 minutes - $150 + GST

Travel
Within Hamilton metro area: $25 + GST
Greater Waikato region: Mileage charged at $1.20 per kilometre (return trip)
