Speech and Language Therapy for Kids
Empowering Children to Communicate With Confidence
At Table Talk, evidence-based approaches are used to provide assessment and therapy tailored to suit your child. Therapy is designed to be fun, engaging, and interactive for children of all ages. Support is available in your home, preschool, or school, with telehealth services also available.
You child can be supported with:
- Early language development
- Language delay and disorders (receptive and expressive language)
- Speech delay and disorders
- Apraxia of Speech
- Social communication difficulties
- Developmental delay
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)
- Stuttering/Fluency
As part of the programme, information, education, advice, and support are offered to whanau and education teams. Referrals to appropriate health providers can be facilitated, as well as collaboration with wider medical and allied health teams.
Pricing
Initial assessment (1 hour): $200 + GST
Includes written summary and recommendations.
If extra time is needed for the intial assessment, this will be charged in 30 minute intervals of $70 + GST.
Additional assessment sessions: $140 + GST per hour
Sometimes additional assessments are required over and above the intial assessment.
This will be discussed and agreed on prior to being provided.
Therapy session (45 mins): $110 + GST
Therapy session (60 mins): $140 + GST
Travel
- Within Hamilton metro area: $25 + GST
- Greater Waikato region: Mileage charged at $1 per kilometre (return trip).
