Terms of Service

By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment Policy:  Payment for services shall be made in full within seven (7) days of the date of the invoice (the due date). Please note, a late payment fee of 10% of the outstanding amount per month will be applied if payment is not received within 7 days. Unpaid balances remaining after 30 days will be referred to a debt collection agency. Any expenses, disbursements and legal costs incurred by Table Talk Therapy Limited in the enforcement of any rights contained in this contract shall be paid by the customer, including any solicitor's fees or debt collection agency fees. Receipt of a cheque, bill of exchange, or other negotiable instrument shall not constitute payment until such negotiable instrument is paid in full. If the Customer fails to make payment on the due date then without prejudice to any of Table Talk Therapy Limited other rights Table Talk Therapy Limited may suspend or cancel any other services to the customer. Payments are to be made to Table Talk Therapy Limited via cash or direct debit into Westpac account 03-0371-0213857-000 with the invoice number as reference.

Quotation: No quotation given by Table Talk Therapy Limited for products and services shall be valid unless it is recorded in writing and is signed for and on behalf of Table Talk Therapy Limited. Unless otherwise agreed the quotation shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. The quotation shall be exclusive of goods and services tax unless specifically stated to the contrary. Table Talk Therapy Limited reserve the right to alter the quotation at any time because of circumstances beyond its control. Where Products and Services are required in addition to the quotation the Customer agrees to pay for the additional cost of such Products and Services.

Client and Caregiver Engagement: Active involvement in therapy is highly encouraged. I collaborate closely with you, and where applicable, the caregivers to achieve the best outcomes. This includes educating you on techniques and strategies to support therapy goals between sessions. Parental or guardian consent is required for clients under 18. Please ensure prompt attendance to sessions as late arrivals may lead to shortened sessions. If my services do not meet your expectations, please inform me promptly so we can address any concerns.

Cancellation Policy: I understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary. If you or your child is unwell or unable to attend a session, please notify us promptly. Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will not incur charges. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will result in a charge of 50% of the session rate. Non-attendance without prior notice will incur the full session rate. To cancel a session, please contact me.

Privacy and Confidentiality: Your privacy is valued. All sessions between you and your therapist are strictly confidential. Any personal information gathered and notes taken are kept securely and are governed by the Privacy Act 2020, the Health Information Privacy Code 2020, and the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association (NZSTA) Code of Ethics. You are entitled to access your personal information at any time. Requests to access your information should be submitted in writing for security and record-keeping purposes. However, Table Talk Therapy may refuse access where legally required, such as if releasing the information poses a serious threat to the life or health of any person.

These terms are designed to ensure clarity and mutual understanding as we work together towards achieving your therapy goals.
